Lange Estate Winery & Vineyards established in Oregon’s Dundee Hills by Don and Wendy Lange in 1987 has earned renowned for its exquisite, consistently excellent Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Pinot Gris. With a reputation backed by critics like Hugh Johnson and Wine Enthusiast, the winery benefits from deep roots in sustainable estate farming and multi-generational craftsmanship, now carried forward by Don’s son Jesse. Their sibling label, Trouvère Wines (exclusive to Bonde Fine Wine), diversifies the family's portfolio, offering limited-run varietals like Tempranillo, Syrah, and a rare Pinot Gris mutation called “Indigene.” Praised for its elegance and expressive freshness (e.g., a 93-point Indigene and highly acclaimed Tempranillo), Trouvère captures a spirit of exploration with artistry both in flavor and aesthetics delivered through small-batch, terroir-driven wines and a welcoming, thematically curated tasting environment.
This tasting is an invitation to share new and old vintages: Hosted by Bill Matthes come to discover and taste wines almost exclusively available through Bonde Fine Wine, produced in very limited quantities. We will discuss about the three valleys of Oregon, Willamette, Umpqua, Rogue, and discovering their grapes and wines.
