HOURS: TUESDAY-SATURDAY 12-6PM, SUNDAY 11-5PM
Appellation (AVA): Southeastern New England AVA (Westport, MA)
Vineyard: Westport Rivers Estate Winery
Grapes: 100% Marquette
Soil: Loam on well drained gravel
Vinification: The free-run fraction of the cuvée. Nouveau-style (carbonic maceration, unaged and unoaked).
Tasting Notes: The nose has ripe blackberries, gummy bears, and smoked bacon. On the palate it’s zippy and pops with bright fruit flavors. Medium bodied and dry.
Service and Food Pairing Suggestion: Serve with a slight chill. Pairs perfectly with a traditional New England Thanksgiving meal, but also would play well with a Mexican mole.
