The boldness of stones and elegance. The wines of a truly winemaker of excellence.
Step into the unique world of Christophe Baron, a visionary winemaker from Champagne, who has shaped one of the most fascinating terroirs in the United States in Washington’s Walla Walla Valley. On stony soils reminiscent of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, he built Cayuse Vineyards, now a cult name among wine lovers and top collectors. Each cuvée is the pure expression of biodynamics and the famous rocks funk that smoky, mineral signature that enchants seasoned palates. His wines rival the greatest names of the Northern Rhône, while offering a distinctly American identity. Praised by critics (94 to 99 points from Wine Advocate, Wine Enthusiast, James Suckling), Christophe’s wines captivate with their intensity, precision, and depth. Some are even described as “beyond categorization.”
This tasting is a rare invitation: Hosted by Jeff Von Bargen come to discover and tasting wines almost exclusively available through private allocation, produced in very limited quantities, and capable of thrilling both passionate enthusiasts and the most demanding critics.
Because for Christophe Baron, where the vine struggles, the wine triumphs.
